The existing Queen Anne style heritage house on this site had been converted to a private hospital with unsympathetic additions to the original structure. The unsightly additions were removed and the existing house was shifted slightly to allow for other dwelling units. The redevelopment scheme called for the retention of the heritage house and its conversion into six dwelling units.
