This project's architectural expression was inspired by the strong vernacular forms of traditional farm buildings. Located in the rural Southlands area of the City of Vancouver, this approach was intended to fit within the agricultural context. The area's agrarian character was maintained by the addition of the new residence building, barn and in-fill dwelling.
